It crazy how God can reveal things to you even through your work๐คฏ. My mind has been blown away these passing weeks ๐คฏ๐คฏ. Many of you may already know that I recently started a small business and I have just in fact finished one of my collections called Trust in God๐๐พ.
As I was making this collection I was touched by the particular verses I was gathering up to put on the mugs. And it was as if God was whispering to me telling me that these mugs would not only touch others but would touch me also.
Trusting in God is easy to say in writing but in reality, it’s one of the hardest things to do. I mean even the Israelites were struggling, for example, when Moses left for 2 seconds (maybe a bit longer than that ๐) to talk with God on the mountain and the Israelites in no time had already started building their idols and worshipping them (Exodus 24, Exodus 32). I wish this was the only case but unfortunately, the bible has PLENTY of records of the Israelites not trusting God time and time again.
However, we can’t blame the Israelites here it’s difficult believing and trusting in something you cannot see. This is where faith comes in, “By Faith We Understand Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1) without faith it’s hard to trust God. And the stories of the Israelites prove that God knew that this was exactly the case for us humans. we care quickly to rely on things we can see but when it comes to God we waver.
I began to understand more deeply why God puts such high emphasis on trusting Him and the blessings that come with it. He is a faithful God who wants us to trust Him, to depend on Him, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;” (Proverbs 3:5) Trusting in God benefits us in so many ways and not only that, it allows the Glory of God to be seen through us.
I was encouraged as I did this collection and I am grateful to God for teaching me to trust and depend on Him more. To not just trust Him in the good times but to continue to trust Him daily with everything in my life and with that watch His blessings pour on me (psalms 2:12)๐๐๐พ
I urge you all today to switch your mindsets, don’t rely on your own understanding but look unto God and trust in Him. For what God has planned for us is only for our good.๐๐พ “For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.” (Psalms 84:11)
If this is your first time hearing about this and about who God is and you want to know more on how to depend on God, How to trust Him, how to have His blessings upon you check out my post (the way of salvation)

Popping out of oneโs bubble can be hard when focusing on ourselves is so easy. The more we focus on our needs and revolve everything around ourselves the tougher our bubbles become. Some can even become as tough as titanium (actually searched this up, much stronger than steel๐ฌ). When the bubble gets to this state we may feel like everything is okay and that we are functioning smoothly๐คฆ๐พโโ๏ธ. However, in reality, we are delaying God’s plan for us and limiting His ability to work through us.
Song of Solomon 8:8, NKJV
โWe have a little sister, and she hath no breasts: what shall we do for our sister in the day when she shall be spoken for?โ
I was listening to a sermon at church and this verse surprised me ๐ฒ. It not your typical verse that you would hear a preacher reference. I began to recall a post I did on this topic 2 years ago (Pop that bubble). And God began to reveal a couple of things.
Allow me to dive ๐๐พโโ๏ธ into this scripture a little bit. To have โno breastsโ is to lack something To have full breasts is to not lack that which we need. For women in that time, full breasts were a sign of having the ability to properly nurture a child and give them the necessary nutrients.
In this scripture, the shulamite brothers were worried because their โlittle sisterโ with “no breasts” and would not be prepared for her being spoken for (back then it was in regards to finding a suitor). โWhat will we doโ they were troubled because she would not be ready because of her lack of breasts. Likewise, God is worried when we bubble ourselves, trust only ourselves and when the times comes lack preparation for Him to speak through us.
The more consumed we are in ourselves and the more we try to do things ourselves, the smaller our “breasts” become. These small breasts symbolise the lack we have of the necessary things that God wants to instil in us to do what He has planned.
The more selfish we become the more we depend on our own power, our own will and become less dependent on God.
But is it not written: โ…Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.โ (Zechariah 4:6, NKJV)
And I will reveal the truth about the dangers of selfish bubbles. When we are in this state especially as Christians, based on experience, when things fail we are most likely to go to God accusatorily. โWhy did you let this happen, Lord?โ โwhy me?โ โI feel so far from youโ โwhy have you forsaken me Lord..?โ am I hitting the right buttons here ๐.
In these moments we are so focused on ourselves we forget what God has done and continues to do for us. We disregard the small wins in life and blame God for the loss of our bigger desires. We Forget that this very breath, every day we live is by His grace. He decides that we are worthy to live another day and I donโt know about you but that in itself is enough to never doubt God and to be so thankful. We are like the โlittle sister โwith โno breastsโ ๐ ๐๐พโโ๏ธ yea I know tragic truth ๐ช
A couple of weeks ago this was me ๐ฑshocker I know. and as I was in prayer God began to remind me โwas it not I whoโฆโ, โWas it not I thatโฆโ. I came to the realisation that I was so focused on what I must accomplish if I could accomplish it that I completely forgot that I had a capable God.๐คฆ๐พโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐พโโ๏ธ And all I could say in the end was โwhen did I startโฆโ When did I start forgetting what God had already done for me? When did I start relying on myself? When did I start forming my bubble? When did I start not thanking God even for a new day?๐ฅบ
And with this, I repented and thanked God for this reminder.๐ญ๐๐พ
On a final note, I would like to say, itโs not about me itโs not even about you, itโs about us giving our lives to Him, fully depending on God and allowing Him FULL access to work in us. And that can only happen when we break the selfish bubble around us and allow God in.
Some of you have nearly unbreakable bubbles, you may be a beginner Christian or have never known God before. But if you feel this way that you need to break out of this bubble and allow God in then I invite you to do this sinners prayer and receive Jesus into your heart. That is the first step to breaking that tough bubble. Sinner’s prayer๐๐พ
After this feel free to contact me and I am more than willing to help you through this new Journey of your with Christ.

A continuum with the Presence of God theme this month (previous post). We now have identified what the presence of God is and how to connect with Him in this presence. Next is understanding that the presence of God is there for our BENEFIT๐. God wants to bless us ๐ฅฐ โHe who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?โ (Romans 8:32, NKJV). The plans He has for every one of us is not of evil but of peace to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). God is a gracious God! ๐๐พ
There are 7 major benefits of the presence of God we will be exploring today.
In the presence of God we have:
1. Life โNor is He worshiped with menโs hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.โ (Acts 17:25, NKJV)
Genesis 2:7, NKJV โAnd the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.โ
God is the one who gave us life from the beginning to the present and even the reason we will wake up tomorrow is all by His grace and power. He is the giver of life, and in His presence there is life.
Psalms 91:16, NKJV โWith long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.โ God is the only one who can prolong our lives. This verse ties in perfectly into the next benefit๐ค
2. Salvation He will show us His salvation. As mentioned in the last post, the divine plan of God to send His only begotten son to die on the cross for our sins (John 3:16) and through this not only did we obtain a right to salvation, to connect with Him again as His children (John1:12), but everlasting life.
John 10:9, NKJV โI am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.โ Through salvation, we have access to better things, to God’s blessings that He wants to give us, in all areas of life, health, wealth, education etc.๐๐พ๐
3. Works of God โBut seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.โ (Matthew 6:33, NKJV)
This applies to us as the children of God in His presence we must proceed to do our father’s work, just as Christ also did God’s work(Luke 2:49).When we do the business of the Kingdom of God, we don’t need to worry about other things, for EVERYTHING ELSE and yes EVERYTHING ELSE! will be added unto us. This really shows the value God holds on those who do His business here on earth. โ19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.โ Amen.โ (Matthew 28:19-20, NKJV)
This doesn’t exclude also performing signs and wonders, healing and miracles (John 14:12) (Mark 16:20). The presence of God allows us to do such works in Him.
4. Healthy relationships โBefore I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.โ (Jeremiah 1:5, NKJV) and (Jeremiah 29:11)
The Lord has planned and ordained good things for your future, in His presence you can depend on Him, cling to Him and trust Him that He will provide someone for you far better than what you had imagined. God is a provider of healthy relationships๐๐พโจ. In this category, there are also supernatural gatherings – where God’s presence is there and great things happen (Matthew 18:20). He is there when His people gather in agreeance.๐
5. The power and capacity to build and achieve โ16 Simon Peter answered and said, โYou are the Christ, the Son of the living God.โ 17 Jesus answered and said to him, โBlessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.โ (Matthew 16:16-19, NKJV)
Just as Peter was given power in the presence of God, so will we be given the power to build things for the glory of God. For some of you, it may be to build churches, ministries and other businesses that will glorify Him and any other sort of building. Moreover, whatever we bind or loose on earth will also bound and loosed in heaven๐คฏ. That is real power!๐ช๐พ And this verse also blends well with the next benefit.
6. Defence, protection and victories
โ…and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.โ (Matthew 16:18) With the presence of God, we have His protection as we do His work and we build for His glory and in these things we have victory. (Joshua 1:6) This is one of my favourite verses as it assures us that in His presence we have to not fear for He will be with us and He will never leave nor forsake. People, families, even pets may leave you but God will never leave you. Here are more verses on his protection, defence (Isaiah 4:5, Zechariah 2:4-5)
7. Eternal states
This is our ability to be able to receive that eternal life to be with Christ at the end of days. And no one can get there unless through Jesus Christ, that salvation through receiving Him (John 14:1-6)
For all those who fill in their hearts that they want to receive Jesus, be in the presence of God and receive all these blessings. You can do what we call a sinner’s prayer to receive Him (sinnerโs prayer) and once you have done this belief in your heart that you are saved.๐๐พโจ
Also, message me if you have and I will be happy to guide you on the next steps.โค๏ธ
Stay blessed the most stylish way possible, being the you that God made you to be๐
Okay, let me be real with you all. It’s HARD! Itโs hard at times to know what the right thing to do in certain situations is. I was thinking about it these past weeks, like all the thoughts and plans that I have in my mind are they really the right things to do? Are they what God wants? Then I started worrying that maybe certain paths Iโm heading are wrong, not in Gods will. Do you ever get that feeling of panic thinking that you might not be doing what God wants? I feel some of you nodding because itโs true! And you are not alone. The thing is it’s okay to feel like that sometimes, as He says โFor My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,โ (Isaiah 55:8). So how can we possibly know what Godโs will truly is?
As I was pondering on these questions, piece by piece God revealed to me certain things that give us the confidence in knowing that we are doing His will. Truth Time, I was totally putting off writing this post for a while now. It’s been shamefully near two months since my last post. But the Lord was urging me to write this post and I am glad to finally be posting it today. Because there might be one of you sitting there in this very position I was in. I pray that this touches your heart and blesses you as much as it has blessed me.
We Are His Sheep Who Hear His Voice
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” (John 10:27)
When you know a person’s voice there is a sense of certainty in you when they speak, like yes this is them without a shadow of a doubt. The same thing applies to God when He speaks you have a sense of certainty that it is Him speaking. The only way to be able to hear the voice of God and to know the voice of God is by first receiving Salvation and then knowing His Word(The Bible). God’s voice will always go in line with what His word says about whatever situation you are facing. So whenever you feel uncertain just go back to The Word of God, pray about it and He will surely answer thee. Now you might be wondering, how do I find out what The Word says about it? Well, Google will now become your BEST FRIEND, trust me. It’s really simple, all you need to do is search what The Bible says about that certain situation on google. All that’s left is for you just take your bible look up the verses and read them, DONE!
He Is Not A God Of Confusion
“For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.” (1 Corinthians 14:33).
If you are finding yourself doing something and being so confused, unclear and going about things blindly. I strongly suggest you take a step back. Ask yourself the question, is it really what God wants me to do? For when God speaks there is no confusion in what He has said. Therefore, if it is of the Lord your mind will be clear and free from confusion.
His Ways Are Great
The things that are in God plan will always come to pass, no matter the problems, hardships or obstacles. The things that are not of God will eventually fail and shutter because without Him we can do nothing (John 15:5). What God has put together no man can take it apart. “All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.” (John 1:3). So do not worry when you start facing some troubles in a situation, it’s all parts of the process. God never promised flowers, rainbows and lollipops in the journey’s we take. However, He did promise that He will deliver us from all our troubles “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears,
And delivers them out of all their troubles.”(Psalm 34:17)
God Is Faithful
God is faithful, He will show you His ways, He will be with you every step of the way. “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.โ (Deuteronomy 31:6). This is His promise to us that He will be with us and not forsake us. When it’s all according to His will and ways, even our enemies cannot stop us. There will be no need to fear anything because we are staying in His will. Stay blessed!
Hey ladies, how have you been? How is the week going so far? If hectic, donโt worry because same! But the God we love and serve is our strength “I will love You, O Lord, my strength.”(Psalms 18:1) So keep having strength sisters.
Todayโs topic: The size of a Church compared to the hearts of the Church
Okay, What I have discovered is that no matter the size of the Church, God looks for one thing and is present for that one thing that is a right heart. That is why God doesnโt worry about size “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18:20). Those who are gathered for Him shall feel his presence. So, what is this right heart? The right heart is a heart that has gathered to worship the Lord in SPIRIT and in TRUTH “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:24)
Nowadays, we have to be careful about big flashy congregations, though they may attract us, the presence of God might not be there. Fame, power, whatever their intentions may be might hinder the presence of the Lord from entering because their hearts and spirits are not in the right place. The service then turns into a concert, just an entertainment to please people NOT GOD.
Donโt get me wrong ladies, Iโm not rebuking all big churches because some do have the right heart. Iโm just saying open your minds and eyes, donโt be blinded to the intentions of Churches. Look around, be alert, ask yourself are they here for God or man? look at your own intentions, why are you at that church? Are you there for God, for people or for the entertainment?
This is an area many Christians fail in and end up being lead astray. A really good way to help you be sure is to KNOW THE WORD. When you know the word of God you can never be lead astray. Whether you like it or not there are false prophets and not everyone who preaches to you will be giving you the truth “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheepโs clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.”(Matthew 7:15). This is why you should know the word for yourself so that you can judge and gain the real truth.
Next time you go to church donโt be amazed by the quantity of it or the talent, however, be amazed by the presence of God in a church. For God does not look at the size, He looks for those true worshippers who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. Stay blessed!
Itโs not about the size, itโs about the heart.
